Hair Booster
A scalp treatment aimed at density and hair quality.
What it is
A hair booster delivers a targeted blend of nutrients directly into the scalp, where the follicle can actually use them, rather than relying on topical products sitting on the surface. It aims to improve the condition of the scalp and support the quality and strength of new growth. It works best as a planned course rather than a one-off.
Is it right for you?
A good fit if
- Early to moderate thinning where follicles are still active
- Hair that has become fine, weak or brittle
- Increased shedding after illness, stress or childbirth
- Scalp health alongside other hair treatments
Not right if
- Fully dormant follicles and long-established bald areas — we will tell you honestly if this is what we see
- Active scalp infection, psoriasis flare or open wounds
- Undiagnosed sudden hair loss — see a doctor first
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
Your skin, specifically
- Skin tone
- Skin tone makes no difference to suitability — this treats the follicle and scalp, not surface pigment.
- Skin type
- Suits dry, oily and flaky scalps alike. An inflamed or infected scalp is treated before any course begins.
- Age & skin maturity
- Most effective on early to moderate thinning where follicles are still active. It supports and improves what is there; it does not regrow hair from a fully dormant follicle, and we will tell you plainly at consultation if that is what we are looking at.
Before & after care
Before your appointment
- Arrive with a freshly washed scalp and no styling product, oil or dry shampoo.
- Skip alcohol for 24 hours.
- Tell us about any scalp condition, medication or recent hair treatment at consultation.
Aftercare
- Do not wash your hair for 12–24 hours.
- No swimming, sauna or heavy sweating for 48 hours.
- Skip harsh shampoos, dyes and chemical treatments for a week.
- Mild tenderness or small bumps at the injection points for a day is normal.
Common questions
Will it regrow hair I have already lost?
It supports and improves follicles that are still active. It does not bring back a follicle that has fully closed. At consultation we look at what stage you are at and tell you plainly what is realistic.
How soon will I see a difference?
Reduced shedding is often the first change, within four to six weeks. Visible density change takes three months or more because hair simply grows slowly.
How is it different from Mezzo therapy?
Hair booster focuses on nourishing and strengthening. Mezzo is a mesotherapy protocol aimed more directly at shedding and regrowth stimulation. Which suits you depends on your pattern of loss.
