Pregnancy and Permanent Makeup

A common question we hear is, “Can I get Permanent Makeup while I’m pregnant?”

At Sara Beheshti ATL, our policy is that we do not perform services during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. This policy is common among permanent makeup artists.

There is very little scientific research on tattoo ink and pregnancy, and no research specifically on the ink used in Permanent Makeup (which is different from tattoo ink). Until medical professionals provide clarity on this subject, our policy will remain the same.
